The lodge has a stunning log cabin design and offers breathtaking views of Old Faithful, which is just a short walk away. However, the experience is marred by high prices for basic rooms that feel outdated and lack amenities. The dining situation is frustrating, especially if you plan ahead, as reservations are a must. Overall, the value for money is poor given the service and room quality.
Staying at this hotel is a mixed bag. On one hand, the Old Faithful geyser basin is an incredible sight, and we enjoyed biking around with the kids. On the other hand, the hotel itself feels very outdated, and we encountered several issues during our stay, particularly with room comfort and dining. While I’d recommend staying here for the views, be prepared for some inconveniences.
Staying at the Old Faithful Inn was a mixed experience. While the location near Old Faithful is fantastic, the accommodations left much to be desired, especially considering the price. The rooms are small and can be quite noisy, and the dining options were disappointing with poor food quality. However, the historic charm of the inn is undeniable, but I wouldn't consider it worth the money.
The Old Faithful Inn boasts a stunning location right next to the Old Faithful geyser, making it the perfect base for exploring Yellowstone National Park. However, the experience was marred by a lack of transportation options, chaotic check-in processes, and overpriced accommodations that did not match the comfort expectations. Dining options also fell short. Overall, while the ambiance and views are impressive, the service and amenities need significant improvement.
Staying at the Old Faithful Inn was an unforgettable experience, thanks to its stunning rustic charm right next to the iconic geyser. While the accommodations were cozy and clean, it did have some noise issues, and the dining options left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a must-visit for the experience, but be prepared for some dining disappointments.
